Experience AIRL

Events

AI creativity isn't a solo activity. The best work happens when you're in a room with other creators, riffing, competing, learning, experimenting.

Our AIRL Events

GenJam™

Our flagship event for learning AI tools rapidly. Teams form around a creative challenge and build something together in just a few hours: short films, music videos, experiments. You'll pick up new tools, meet collaborators, and leave with work you made that day.

Walk&Jam

Walk, take pictures, and animate with AI. A more exploratory format that gets you out into the world to capture source material, then back together to transform it using AI tools. Part photo walk, part creative jam.

GenBattle

A battle of the best AI creators. Teams compete to make the strongest work under time pressure, with voting and prizes. Past themes have included public domain stories like Sherlock Holmes, Winnie the Pooh, and Journey to the West. Fast, competitive, and a great way to push your skills.

Gen&Juice

Meet the AI creative community. Networking dinners and gatherings where you can connect with other creators, share what you're working on, and find collaborators. Sometimes there's a panel or speaker; always there's interesting people.

Work-In-Progress Salon

Share your AI creative work. A salon-style session where creators present ongoing projects and get feedback from peers. Part critique, part inspiration, part "how did you do that?" Great for refining ideas and seeing what others are exploring.

GenFest

Our larger summits and retreats. Multi-day gatherings that bring together the broader Machine Cinema community for intensive workshops, showcases, talks, and collaboration. These are the events where the whole community comes together.

Online Community

GenTalks

Weekly calls bringing together AI creators for live discussions, demos, and networking. A regular touchpoint for the community to share what they're learning and working on.

Our Newsletter

Weekly insights, tool updates, and community highlights. 9,000+ creators subscribe to stay current on what's happening in AI creativity and the Machine Cinema community.

Robodojo

Monthly deep dives into specific AI tools, techniques, and creative workflows. More focused than a GenJam™, these sessions go deep on one topic with practitioners who know the tools inside and out.

Discord Community

Our active Discord server is where the community connects between events. Share work, get feedback, find collaborators, and stay in the loop on what's happening.
